Privacy notice
Short version: your chats, ideas and folders stay on your computer. We store your email, how you sign in, and whether you bought the app.

What never leaves your computer
- Your chat exports (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and anything in them.
- Your board: ideas, folders, tags, merges. It lives in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB).
- Your project folders. The folder scan reads folder names and which marker files exist, inside your browser, and keeps the result on the board.
- Your coding agent sessions. Only the first request of each session is read, inside your browser.
What we store
- Account: your email address, your name if Google provides it, how you sign in (Google or email link), and when the account was created.
- Sign-in: a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and short-lived sign-in links that expire after 15 minutes.
- Purchase: whether you bought the app, when, and the order reference from our payment provider. We never see or store card details.
- Waitlist: if you join it, your email and the date.
This data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request logs (IP address, browser) to keep the service running and secure.
Sort with AI (optional)
Only when you start it and agree on the consent screen: the titles of your unfiled ideas, the first line of each chat excerpt, and your folder and tag names are sent to TypeSafe's Jev model through IdeaSweeper's relay, using your own API key. The relay passes the request on and stores nothing. TypeSafe's own privacy policy covers what happens there.
Payments
Purchases are handled by our payment provider as the seller of record. They receive your payment details, billing country and email to process the sale and tax, under their own privacy policy, and tell us only that the purchase happened.
Emails
We send sign-in links you ask for, your receipt (from the payment provider), and, if you joined the waitlist, one beta invite and one launch note. No marketing lists, no selling or sharing your email.
Cookies and tracking
One session cookie for sign-in. Your theme choice is saved in your browser. No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete your account data, and it is done within 30 days. To delete your board, clear this site's data in your browser or use the app's own controls; we never had a copy.
